When I’m not arguing with friends about racism, I’m taking pictures of billboards with my phonecam and criticizing their colour usage. Of course, this refers to the other blog I help maintain: Elbowruminations. It’s the official studio blog of Elbowroom Design, the graphic design studio for which I work. We’re putting lots of energy into Elbowruminations these days, trying to help it become one of the web’s go-to destinations for insight into graphic design. Of course, we’ve got lots of work to do before it even approaches that status, but we’d still love it if our friends dropped by.
Our most recent posts includes a fun top-ten list about the best websites you might not know about if you’ve been mostly offline, and some critiques of a few unique websites. We’ve also spilled the latest juice on the upcoming release of Photoshop Online.
We try to cater our writing to non-designers and business-people, so if you’re not a designer, don’t worry. You might still find the blog interesting. We update it weekly, and then sum up the best content in the form of a newsletter we send out every two months. If you’d like to be on the receiving end of that newsletter, you can visit the site and type in your details in the little box on the sidebar.
Okay, that’s all the shameless cross-promotion for today. Thanks for listening!
