Zach and Thomas, thanks so much for your tips. I’ll probably listen to the podcast, but I probably won’t watch the TV show, because I don’t have cable and I don’t live in the states.

Dan Church, don’t feel redundant. Did you know that you were the FIRST PERSON to ever tell me about TAL? It’s true. One day in our room in Robson you were listening to something in your headphones and chuckling to yourself. I asked you what was so funny, and you said your brother Nate just sent you this mp3 of an episode of “This American Life,” which is a show you loved. And from then on I knew it was a show to seek after.

Leah, doesn’t it sound AWESOME? I’m glad the news made your day. I like the idea of the set crew painting an entire train. Knowing Wes Anderson’s ridiculous attention to typographic & design detail in his movies, I bet it will be amazing.

Harrison, how come you don’t like Wes Anderson films? Too much depression-chic? Maybe too much Wilson + Stiller? It doesn’t mar your “intellectual, collegiate reputation” if you have an intellecutal reason for disliking his films.

well, i feel redundant now, coming here to tell you that you can both get TAL online for free and that this week they actually produced the first tv show of it. Regardless, you should take extra note that TAL is one of the best things in my life.

Did you know that they have made “This American Life” into a TV show on ShowTime now? If we were in the US of A, then we could watch it directly on the interweb.

Kevan, an episode of This American Life is actually available as a free podcast once a week (Monday) – you can get it off of itunes or on their website I do believe.
