A cursory Google search tells me it's the residence of Dick Moes, who recently finished up his Doctor of Ministry Program at ACTS Seminaries. Following the name of Mr. Dick Moes, we find a reference on GoDutch.com , where we discover Dick is married to Elise, and on May 3, 1987, the couple gave birth to Reuben Moes, which seems to be...you! Yay for Moeses!

Romalie, if you’re trying to pull a Jeff Wall by “capturing a candid moment” through re-staging natural elements on this blog, it’s somehow less profound. Quotation marks seem slightly less artful than a photo. Although maybe that’s your point. See, now I’m reading much too far into an innocuous comment, which really MUST have been your point.

James, what IS behind the big doors of 395 Alexander? You should post a shot of the exterior so we can start hunting.

Thomas: I wonder why our first thoughts about unmarked buildings always assume the worst? Before I found out that 645 E Hastings was the Lair of Jeff Wall, the only other rumour I had heard was that it was a gay porn studio. Right. Personally, I prefer your secret government agency idea. (“Here come the men in black…galaxy defenders…”)

I found this fascinating. I often find myself curious about similar mysterious unmarked buildings in Seattle – generally I just assume that they house CIA black ops units or secret government agencies – think Jennifer Garner in Alias or Will Smith in Men in Black…
